Luke Hamer

Luke Hamer joins Levitt LLP and brings with him over 12 years of experience as a litigator since being called to the bar in 2013. During this time, he has demonstrated his proficiency in representing clients in complex civil matters and now brings his extensive legal capabilities to the area of employment and labour law and disability claims.

Throughout his practice, Luke has consistently demonstrated his strong advocacy skills, litigation experience, and legal expertise to obtain favourable outcomes for his clients.

Luke has acted as counsel at numerous trials and arbitrations and has represented clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

Luke has written articles for The Litigator and The Lawyer’s Daily (currently Law360) and has volunteered for the Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry program.

While not at work, Luke enjoys spending time outdoors and with his wife and four children.
